Today it's my father's birthday. 2 Years ago, he took the plane for the first time in his life to come to Sri Lanka. We had celebrations on the beach, he was so happy with us and Leo. He called Nilaveli his Eden or Paradise on Earth. He made 2 more trips here to see us. I am so grateful for the time spent together and lovely memories. Rest in peace, I know you are looking over us. Love.

How to start a blog? What to write? In what language? Will people read it? Here are a few questions that come to my mind since I decided to write about life in Sri Lanka. I guess it could help people that are organizing a trip to Sri Lanka, maybe that want to come and settle down here or just leave their office job to run a guest house ;)
